I think the game was determined by the overtime coin toss....

Yep, but I'd rather have Wilson than Winston in the clutch. Our Pass D needs some work.

Dude. We couldn't stop a 2-5 team today. How the heck are we going to stop an 8-0 team next Monday night?

If they don't fix the defense and the kicker they're toast. Let's hope they were only 'playing down' to the level of the opponent, because all of the upcoming games - yes even the one against the Cardinals - are going to be tough.

I'll still take a win...7-2.

I think the pivotal point of this game was after Wilson got sacked twice a few minutes before the end of the half and the Seahawks had to kick away down two touchdowns. Arians went conservative and they ran the ball on first down instead of going for the knockout punch. Then they threw two incomplete passes giving Seahawks the ball back with plenty of time to score before the end of the half.

BPJ, did you see the Patriots game? Being undefeated against a bunch of pathetic losers did not help them when they played their first actual contender. The same thing is likely to happen to the Niners, who so far have played losers and weaklings (six games) and mediocre teams (two). Their schedule now flips to one of the toughest in football. Let’s see how the Niners do against the Seahawks, Packers, Saints and Ravens, instead of the hot garbage they have faced so far. The only gimme game the Niners have left is Atlanta. I give the Cardinals a (small) chance since they have beaten the Niners 8 out of their last 9 meetings. I just saw a “who’s in who’s out” playoff preview on CBS sports. They listed the “5-2” Cowboys as being ahead of the 7-2 Seahawks. Funny how on this planet the Cowboys are 4-3 even though their division is 50% trash. Sorry CBS, maybe next time hire someone who can both count and read, and maybe an editor to check their work. And someone who doesn’t put losers ahead of winners.

IMO lotsa money for Wilson = no much money left for defense. The general statistics show defense wins games in the NFL. Then there's Belichick. Seahawks will not get back to the Super Bowl in a very long time. Deal with it. They will always end in a loss.

Art is an adventure.

The two Seahawk losses don’t look so bad right now. Baltimore is a quality team, and the Saints without Brees were still very tough. This Monday night will answer several NFC West questions. We should have a football/pizza social that night. Seahawks, Niners, pizza, beer. agree.gif Oh, and Go Sounders!

My thoughts exactly! I was really hoping we would win the toss because the defense has sucked! Beginning with the 49ers, the schedule gets very tough and an 0-7 finish, although not likely, is certainly possible imo. Carson is running hard and being very productive, but hopefully no more fumbles! Plus the kicker better get his sh** together quickly, how was this guy and all-pro last year? Without Wilson, they would be....like the mariners.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

0-7 is certainly possible? Hahaha! ykm.gif Last week the Niners played a team with a bad offensive line, featuring a running back from the junk pile who had three days to learn the playbook. They gave him 110 yards rushing on a 7.3 yard per carry average. The Niners have so far faced only bottom half quarterbacks. Not one was in the top 15 in the league this year. Now they face the second highest rated QB in NFL history, having his best season so far.

We gonna cream the 9ers on monday night!!! Dick Sherman is bout to be shut up!! He knows his role now that he took the money to play for a lesser organization!!!! This is a known fact in True 12 Country, especially outlying areas to the north and east of Seattle!! That's True 12 Country!!
