Lots of ads. Seems like Google/YouTube has upped the amount of ads shown per video. I’ve been getting 2 ads at the beginning, 2 or more ads in the middle and 2 ads at the end.

Yeah, extremely annoying when I'm streaming my saved musical selections, especially when unable to click "skip ad" asap - like when I'm up on a ladder. Don't care, not payin'!

Steven Colbert tells the story of how he met his wife. Quite magical, includes mentioning Odysseus in the tale. ~z

Sometimes people in the advertising industry really shine with genius creativity. This one made my day.

Just to note, this was written in 2006.
"It’s one of the most striking and memorable moments in “Hadestown,” Anais Mitchell’s multi-Tony Award-nominated retelling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, when Hades sings: “Why do we build the wall, my children?”
“We build the wall to keep us free,” respond his followers in the underworld. “How does the wall keep us free?” he asks. “The wall keeps out the enemy,” they reply." |

Great movie. Clever writing, some humor, fantastic B/W cinematography. Retelling of the Earps, Clantons, and the OK Corral resolution. Not historically accurate, but wonderful. A very young Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp, Victor Mature as Doc Holliday.

Yeah, I've noticed. Which is why I've mostly dropped youtube from my list of things to do. There are a couple "channels" I use to learn something actually useful, but I don't "surf" youtube anymore. So that's good. Waiting for the snow so I can go hiking/snowshoeing.
