We had probably 10 more penalties than the eagles. We should have won by 20 or more. Ugly game for sure.
But...9-2! Go Seahawks

Yeah, those penalties were backbreakers. Russell Wilson was also curiously inaccurate (for him) on his deep throws; maybe he got thrown off by the windy conditions.

Ya that was some game. I think we can take the west. I wouldn't look forward to Baltimore in the Super Bowl though.

The clink was rockin extra loud last night! It was a load of fun being there. I really like how the Hawks are rounding out as the season progresses. Next week could be a trap game, though, as the Rams played really well Sunday. The number one seed would be great as Home field advantage has always proven critical in Seahawks post season success, and as good as this years team has done on the road, you gotta like the extra boost from the Clink crowd noise against the other NFC heavy hitters.
Gotta think the Ravens are the team to beat in the long run.

Still would love to get to the Superbowl despite losing to the Ravens in the big one. Ravens are definitely showing they deserve it.

Haven't you heard? "Every game is a championship game."
The Rams certainly won't be easy, but no game this year has been. Still, the win will be Carroll's 100th regular season win as head coach of the Seahawks.
Go Hawks!

I really think that was the best game of the year so far.
The offense has been decent all year but slow to get started (we're a "second half team!") And the defense, up until the last couple of games had been pretty shaky.
On Monday the offense came out ready to play from the beginning. The D Stumbled a bit at first but quickly pulled it together. All in all, if you discount the one blown coverage and the volleyball match, the Hawks played really well throughout.
Good time to be gelling and putting it all together. Let's hope we can play like that against the Rams!

Yup! They seem to be rounding into shape nicely, just as they always seem to do when December rolls around; must be a Pete Carroll coaching thing. I only remember the Seahawks committing two penalties (although the pass interference one was costly) and the offensive line was great in both pass protection (I think both sacks were on Russell Wilson and not the line) and in running the ball.

Spoke too soon.
Ugh, what a poor performance: receivers dropping balls that are hitting them in the hands, receivers falling down on their own, D K Metcalf losing his cool and hitting someone out of the blue resulting in a 15yrd penalty... Yuck.

I have to agree with you, sad to say... not a fun game to watch!

Stopped watching after half, no comeback in sight.

It might as well have been. In a violent game verbal provocation shouldn't be responded to. Especially, when your team has its back against the wall, and the guy doing the provocation has a reputation for such behavior.
