Great article, Randy, thanks for posting it. "Native biscotti" - that's a good one. In a fashion, the grand prize winning recipe using Pilot bread is very close to a basic meatloaf recipe. Will have to try that next time I have some ground moose around. I'll pass on the Pilot bread sundae, though.

Finally found some at Hank's in Twisp. They had six boxes. No expiration date printed on the box, so I think they'd been there a while. The bread was just as I remember-- it's not like it goes stale.
