Hiked into this one this fall. I posted a trip report, so if you've seen that please don't give it away. This is going to be a hard one, because the lake ISNT named on the map! LOL

I think I've actually visited this little lake a long time ago. Getting there takes only a short bushwhack from the nearest road. A splash of beauty amid the clear cuts north of Stampede Pass. Note: I did see BPJ's report, which jogged my memory a bit.

Interesting picture. I don't think I have seen a picture of those lakes taken from Mt. Skokomish before. You must have zoomed in a bit. I have camped at those lakes. You don't need a permit because they are outside the National Park boundary.

I was just going through photos looking for a lake that might not have been in the thread before. I didn't have the photo labeled and had to figure out what it was. Going back now I see I also took a couple less zoomed photos.

I was surprised not to find this one in a search of the thread.

Edit: I'm even more surprised to realize it's not the lake I thought it was. That's the second time I've done that on this thread. The perils (for me at least) of going back and looking at unlabeled photos. This is better looking than the named lake anyway.
