I have a friend who trains at our local highrise, 12 or 13 stories I think. Up and down the stairs, over and over. I think your place looks nicer.

Lots of wind surfers go there.

Kite boarding has pretty much taken over from wind surfing.  They definitely are all over Richmond Beach on a windy day.

Do lots of stair repeats, up and down the hill trails here in Milwaukee, WI on the shoreline parks, bluffs along the Lake Michigan shore. At first when I started I thought it'd be boring. But if you're in the prettiest woods in the neighborhood, or catching the late afternoon light or a moon rise over Lake Michigan, or there's a dozen surfers in the water it is just fine.

I am now seeking out stairs to climb. Queen Anne in Seattle is covered in cool staircases, some with interesting stories. Just today, at work, I took a little walking tour of part of Queen Anne.

I went up Gilman from 15th to 13th, then south to W Boston street. Then I ascended the W Boston Haunted Staircase. Right next to the topmost flight (not shown) is a Haunted Deck.  embarassedlaugh.gif

This is only about half the stairs.
This is only about half the stairs.

It was more slippery than spooky.

Love richmond beach! I took my dog for a swim yesterday and had the beach completely to ourselves for over an hour. Seen one other guy with a dog on our way out.  Before we left we Took the side trail next to the steps up, and the stairs back down.

I went back to the Haunted Stairs today, more spooky and more slippery in the rain.

Haunted stairs of W Boston St, lower section

Haunted stairs of W Boston St, including the ?haunted deck? lol

Itís more fun to climb stairs when I am at work and being paid. Someone called the work cell phone while I was out, I used an app called Insteon to let them into the building. Whoo hoo, technology!

We do a lollipop in Bellevue's WeOwnAPark -- starting on West Lake Sammamish drive -- it starts with 220 ft of stairs / steep trail , then drops 100 ft at a modest grade, rolls along for a while then drops down some stairs for a 100 feet and loops around to close the lollipop.    Its about 3 miles and 500 ft of elevation gain.    Access from the West Lake Sammamish trail  head doesn't work well during commute times -- as the Northbound lane is a continuous stream of MSFT SOVs in the morning and Southbound is wave after wave of MSFT SOVs in the afternoon released from the stoplight at 164th and Northup.   There is a trailhead on the top side (168th Ave and SE 9th) that avoids the MSFT madness -- but my wife doesn't like to go down stairs until she is warmed up.

I have an ankle injury, so I can walk up the stairs but I need to call an Uber to get me back down.  After several laps my bank account has had a good workout and it's time to go home.
