The kids in this shot were playing in the surf at Dungeness Spit. Talk about hardy!

Very picturesque, BPJ! Let's have the fall campout at your house! Here's the light at Dungeness Spit.
It's an 11-mile round trip, but if you can time the tides correctly (it's a wildlife refuge, so you have to walk on the seaward beach), it can be a great experience.

Hey did anyone get a good shot with this morning's sunrise (Thursday January 30)? It was incredible, and I'm kicking myself for not planning better and being somewhere scenic since I had the day off.

I'm eager to go back to the Island. Haven't been in some years now. I didn't see the sunrise yesterday, but shot this more typical of the current weather pattern image

The Usual Suspects made a long drive east to hike in the sun in the Hanford Reach National Monument. Beautiful day, and we got no information about a certain game.
