It looks like spring here at Priest Lake Idaho, but that's about to change in about a week.
Winter part 2 is about to begin...bring it on!
I didn't come here for rain and 40 degrees, if I wanted that I could have stayed in western Wa.

I've been seeing heather blooming in the lowlands, but I think heather is flowering about 9 months out of the year.
Saw some little teeny daisies or asters or something at Richmond Beach Park several weeks ago.

I saw a flowering tree getting ready a couple weeks ago. Can't remember which kind, it was above the hill from downtown.
Snap dragons are recognizable in the garden. I don't know whether they survived from last year or came up new. A lot of spring bulbs are looking healthy.

My crocuses and daffs have been peeking out now for weeks - some of the crocuses about to bloom. But remember we had a couple feet of snow in the lowlands last Feb, so winter's not over yet!

An absurdly warm "winter". Only two cold snaps, otherwise lows around 40 and highs regularly 50 or above all December and January. Praying for some sort of colder weather to balance things out in February!

Spring here in Priest Lake, 41 degrees at 3k. Supposed to be back to "normal" by Monday. High of 43 here today.
