East Pierce Fire and Rescue tweeted out the photo and when asked said no injuries to the people in the car. No details on the accident posted. SR

So that is somewhere BEFORE the ranger station?

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

The Carbon River Road and Mowich Lake Road separate just outside Carbonado. Mowich Lake should be open. This section is well outside the park boundary. The county may reopen it at some point, but it will be expensive to fix. Around 2001 you could drive your car into Ipsut Creek Campground. Both the Gravel Road into the park, and the direct path to the suspension bridge are victims of slides as well. Only access to Ipsut Creek now is via Mowich Lake; and either Wonderland or Spray Park alternate.

Pierce County has a GIS map showing it. https://piercecowa.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=4c54e7a75b64424786eb817e74efa170 The fixes will cost quite a bit, in areas that voted for the low license tabs. dizzy.gif Doesn't seem too far, can we park and walk from there I wonder.

Looks like a few miles before the ranger station.
