Here is a main point , the divide and take operations elites seem to thrive on. For instance CO2 is killing the enviroment. Also off road machines are destroying the woods. So the solution for both problems is to remove off road machines. But what if CO2 is not killing the planet and off road machines cannot do forever damage in the woods. We all know that mining and cutting down trees does 99.99 % more damage and corporate enviromentalism has no problem with this happening. BUT something must be done, off road machines are removed forever. Or at least until the country in question goes into total third world chaos for some long time. First off road machines are removed---low hanging fruit, then in time everything else except foot traffic. Then after some more time a big economic down turn ... Well of course only a few hikers on the land now since the great depression and the government to broke to keep it up and we all need the money for public debt ,, so time to sell..... etc etc First they come for the guy you hate down the street, then they come for your neighbors, then your friends, and finally for you. Or take out the Co2 causing global warming , then vanishes the big need to remove the offroaders. The chain is broken the slide toward corporate controlled evirimentalism hell is broken. The big part of divide and take operation is broken. If all groups who enjoy the outdoors stand together against the divide and take operations it would be better for everyone. Right now the global weather cycle people are saying the warming period is over we are going to cooler weather for about 100 to 150 years. Of course corporate enviromentalism is going to scream about the end of the warming currents due to desalination of polar waters. Now CO2 magically causes global cooling for a 100 plus years. Wow!!! We all with brains know desalination can't last but a few years, the polar waters don't sit stagnant. The future is multi use public lands if you want nice public lands. Otherwise it will be very restricted and nasty.

This is the second time you've posted this bit, so I want to make sure I understand: "elites" have something to do with restrictions on off road vehicle use, which is because of concerns about CO2 and climate change, the connection between which you think is... fake? [That is factually incorrect.] And per the poorly paraphrased famous quote above, this is related to.... The Holocaust? confused.gif

Go! Take a gun! And a dog! Without a leash! Chop down a tree! Start a fire! Piss wherever you want! Build a cairn! A HUGE ONE! BE A REBEL! YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! (-bootpathguy)

Once the corporations/elites take the land by whatever means it is theirs forever. This is the game.of empire or family dynasty.. Your envirmentalist buddy may be on the payroll or controlled by those who are on the payroll, most likely.

https://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/house/172481-rep-poe-sell-federal-land-to-help-pay-down-the-debt So who is on the payroll ??? All the time the elites want buy to public land, for pennies on the dollar. Pretty slick, government broke the masses starving, elites flush with cash. Also some of your environmentalist buddies, well we need to sell, that land is no good to hike on anyway or whatever.... Sociopathic elites are like a terminator ,, they never stop, they never quit , they keep on lying and conning endlessly , the same for their bought off lackeys..

You're citing an article concerning a bill which was introduced nine years ago? huh.gif (* the bill died long ago: https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/112/hr2588 *) In other news: here's Svetlana out in the fabulous sunshine at Joshua Tree (thanks Mike!) up.gif

https://www.backpacker.com/stories/opinion-its-time-to-start-closing-national-park Government broke. Masses starving. Guess what , the elites are flush with cash. The land is not good for hikers anyway. The off roaders , hunters, snow mobilers , etc, all they do is tear up the ground and make CO 2 anyway . So, time to sell, mining and forestry that doesn't count anyway as that is needed and the correct kind of restoration after the use is over,, blah, blah.blah.... Is everyone on the payroll??? I am starting to wonder???

We need one of those insiders to do a information dump on all the environmentalists on the payroll. The person who does this would go to jail forever, but It sure would help wake some people up and maybe save some public land...

If you read that article from back packer mag. The plan is to mothball some public land. Then of course you know the elites plan to buy for a few pennies on the dollar, someday. Government broke, masses starving, land not in usage anyway. Like magic the rich elites are full of cash and like magic environmentalists and other figures like magazine editors are all for it. Everyone on the payroll. Socialiopaths never quit , never stop, they con and lie to the very last breath of life.

Please review our posting policy. https://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7976546 We give some latitude for public lands discussion but the substance of your posts exudes generic political rhetoric which is off limits at NWH.
