I also enjoy fishing from a float tube. However if one has to carry the tube, fins, and insulated waders very far, that setup becomes cumbersome. My Curtis raft with paddles weighs less than 2 lbs., and I can use my sleeping pad in the bottom of the raft, to keep me dry, add flotation, and comfort...sometimes you can even use it as a sail.

One of the times I was in the Enchantments (never fished there myself) as I was wondering from the uppers down into the lowers I came up on two guys fly fishing. They were literally catching fish every second cast!!! Nobody goes in there to fish. Of the Eight times Ive been in there Ive only seen anyone fishing once!
