Some of the members in this forum don't own a car. A new bus company called FLIX bus is offering tickets to/from Seattle to Snoqualmie Pass for $4.99. The stop in Seattle is in the International District. I rode a FLIX bus from Portland to Seattle a week ago for $9.95. The buses are comfortable with wifi available. Bikes in the storage area aren't allowed yet though.

Even if you own a car, riding in our sweet traffic can be a nice change! Make a friend, read a book. Has anyone tried the shuttle service from Capitol Hill to popular i90 trailheads?

That sounds like a good deal to me and I would use it if I lived near the pickup point. Tacoma> Snoqualmie pass next please:>)

I see a departure from Tacoma to Ellensburg. Perhaps there is a stop at Snoqualmie?

I see that Rich...looks like a straight shot without stops. I'll check it out more.

I looked into going to Snoqualmie but the site books one to Ellensburg. Perhaps the Snoqualmie option is not available yet?

People can hike without worrying about their cars being broken into!

Cyclopath, exactly!. Also, my car is in front of house making it look like I am home. Win-win!

I just got off the phone with FLIX bus at 855-626-8585. They told me that the stop at Snoqualmie Pass was stopped two weeks ago. Sorry to have given you fake news. The phone receptionist told me that it would be up to the driver if he wanted to drop you off on the way to Ellensburg. But the cost to Ellensburg would be higher.

Sorry to hear that. I hope it's a seasonal closure.

FWIW: Lyft quotes $45 from North Bend Outlet Mall to Snoqualmie Summit. $86 From SeaTac airport. Doesn't address the carbon footprint aspect. One way to address that would to take bus #208 to North Bend with your bike and ride from there. The Snoqualmie Valley trail to Rattlesnake and the P2C from there to Hyak are enjoyable rides. Up the P2C doesn't really feel like you are riding uphill, but on the way back you hardly need to pedal to move along at a good clip.

12.99 to Ellensburg. Amazing. The Airport shuttle is like $60
