I have only ever been in Summer. Is the lake easily accessible this time of year? I have the next few weekends free and think it would be a lot of fun with a little snow. I have snow shoes and feel comfortable with somewhat of a challenge. Thanks to anyone who can offer advice.

Either one (eastern Oregon). Just want a fun weekend getaway. Little strawberry would likely be easier
