From what I read on the Summit at Snoqualmie website it sounds as though skinning up and skiing down should be just fine. I was wondering if anyone has taken advantage of our fantastic weather and done some laps up at the summit?

I counted 50 cars in the lot at Hyak midweek. I could only guess at the number of skiers, probably around 100. It’s a popular spring skiing destination, and social distancing has, if anything, encouraged more people to visit.

Should be fine. I was at Crystal last weekend. Lots of people. No problems.

I made a quick trip up Hyak monday. I was snowing heavily and the conditions were really starting to get nice for skiing. I was surprised to find 2 private snowmobiles serving snowboard laps.

It was sweet late last week and over the weekend at west. Smooth nicely softened corn. Lots of space so no trouble despite others there. But after the governor set out new language last night most of us are leaving that method of exercise to the people who live up there. I'm just doing walking laps on my local hill now.
