USGS reports 6.5 earthquake 45 miles from challis id happened about 5:55 mdt. I felt it here in deer lodge mt. others say butte spokane.....

I felt it here in Mead, just north of Spokane.

60 miles from the epicenter here. It was strong but only lasted about 20 seconds or so. Nisqually Quake of 2001 seemed stronger, but this one was still enough to rattle things on the shelves and knock me off balance.
