The Pelligrino is pretty sweet so watch how much you add. I might try it next time with just grapefruit juice. I tend to like IPAs with the citrus tropical flavor versus piney bitter so this works for me.

Interesting, sometimes I'll had an orange to a wheat beer or lime to Mexican beer but I would have never thought to add something to an IPA. It just so happens that I have both sitting at home right now. Maybe I'll throw a dash in to it tonight and see what I think.

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

I honor of John Prine I had a “handsome Johnnie”, as he called it. Yep, Vodka and diet Ginger Ale was actually his drink. It was AWFUL!

Spotted a wine at the Ballard Market with a shelf tag that said, "A Ballard Market Favorite!" So I tried it - pretty good: Thurston Wolfe 2019 PGV - a blend of Pinot Gris and Viognier.

I can't get past the chemical taste in "diet" beverages. Not to speak ill of the dead, but I believe Prine was quite the boozer at some period in his career - maybe as bad as Lightfoot was. No accounting for bad taste in "maintenance" cocktails. frown.gif

Just bought some of that Celebration ale, pretty damn good! Tonight it's a poker game at the neighbors (walking) so Pilsner Urquell and a few shots of Bulliet Bourbon....still a few good times left in 'Merica..

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
