Heard it drop in from up high near the county line at about 2100 and almost hit the deck at our house, flying low at high speed towards Whidbey. Haven't heard a roar like that in a while scared me half to death for a second.

I've had A6 intruders fly close to the deck over my head on Lake Kachess while I was paddling my canoe and they were flying a radar avoiding training pattern. This has happened multiple times. Danm loud. The first time it happened to me, I was heading north, so I didn't see them, nor hear them until the were very close and then bam!! Scared me silly. But our pilots need to be well trained before flying in hostile territory.

Ever have one hit ya? I hate it when that happens.

Are you sure it wasn't heading in to Paine Field? They use that runway as well and they fly low in Lynnwood for their approach/takeoff.

My daughter's first time driving stick shift pickup back from a hike we were on the edge of Lake Keechalus when we heard a loud noise and turned to see an F-18 Banking beside us over the lake at what seemed like the same elevation. Scared the heck out of us. Still a great memory of the ending of our Enchantments trip.

I was drunk sorry. I've seen them all over the cascades before. I'll try to refrain from drunk posts
