Anyone been up around the Illabot creek road recently? I need to get up there to the Jordan lakes area this summer. I figure on e-biking past slide lake to the original Jordan parking lot then hiking into the lakes. Im hoping someones been up there last summer and give me a road update. Who knows whats happened to the road this winter/spring.

C P is into resurrecting lost trails. Illabot has been one of his recent projects. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/trip-reports/trip_report-2020-04-26-2324945099

One WTA report to Slide Lake says road was OK last July. It really does get a lot of local use, plus the roads volunteer organization in the Mt. Baker District might have done work on it by summer, but that doesn't help you much now, does it. But: Last July it was good.

Looks like someone on WTA was up there recently. Sounds like it needs a little clearing. Bring the chainsaw. https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/trip-reports/trip_report-2020-05-12-6376516726

I've never met CP, but he is a saint for all of the work he does.
