And why? Is it because you love visiting the trail and the TH means you're about to? Is the place nice in its own right? Is it the view, a good camp, a feeling of remoteness?
We've talked do much about the virus lately, what's open and what's closed, I thought it would be nice to talk about hiking again.

Mine is Cascade Pass, because of the views mostly, and because everything up above is heaven. You can watch small avalanches from a safe distance in spring. I've snowshoed to the TH in winter, I've biked up from Marblemount in the summer, I've brought family who can't do the hike but enjoyed seeing hanging glaciers ... there aren't many THs that are worthy destinations in their own right.

My favorite is Harts Pass. Stunning panoramas there and great trails. Has quite the remoteness feeling after a four hour drive from Seattle. Great campsites here and there. A short walk up to the fire lookout. The trails lead off to wonderful destinations or epic one way hikes. PCT is there as well as others. Too many reasons why....

Private property: the Norwegian Memorial backdoor trailhead. One spooky mile to paradise.
National Park: Obstruction Point. I’d hike for miles to get there if they hadn’t built a road.
National Forest: The Tenderfoot trailhead in the Wallowa-Whitman NF, accessing the Eagle Cap wilderness. Hardly anyone seems to know it exists.
State land: Backdoor route to Toleak Point (DNR).
Water trail: Armitage park in Eugene, OR, on the Mckenzie river, which merges with the Willamette river. 47 miles of “drop and pool” to Corvallis.

Needleton Creek trailhead to get to the Chicago Basin in Weminuche Wilderness, CO. Why? Because of the scenic train ride to get there.

The one without any other cars.
Since many of the classics have or will be mentioned, I'll toss out an obscure one that I enjoy. Discovery Lake. The hike to Discovery lake itself isn't anything to brag about. But there's some good off trail roaming in that area. And the "trailhead" (really a parking area where they decommissioned the road) is almost always empty, has some nice views, and makes a great spot to camp between hikes.
