Great trip on the Brothers May 8-9. The snow is off of many of the 3000'campsite areas, but not all. The snow is soft most of the way to the top and my son and I did not need crampons. I short-roped him for the last 20 feet for the very steep part and some wet rock. I needed to bring him home for Mother's Day. A couple got engaged while we were on the top!
My Stubai crampons fell from my pack on the way down somewhere.  They have red heel straps. If you find them please let me know and I can come pick them up. Reward!
