This is another obscure desert peak that likely receives few visitors, despite it's relatively short & easy access. It is located in the Volcanic Hills area @ the southern end of ABDSP.
We drove in via Jojoba Wash from the S-2, encountering a coyote along the way, until we were @ the western base of Pk. 1,939'. Conveniently there was a generous pullout @ this spot & the canyon entrance across the valley was obvious.
We walked toward the wash to the SW. The route ahead:

Looking back down the way we came up
We reached a flatter area where I made a pit stop while the others began climbing the next slope.
We got above the lip & for the next little while it was more or less walking across a plateau.
Pk. 2,205'
Then just a last little climb to get on the summit.
