Sorry to hear that. Cracked ribs are miserable. When you're descending something steep or treacherous, stand up on the pedals and push your butt back to shift your weight backward, making it harder to go over the bars. Also use the rear brake more. wink.gif

I thought to introduce you since he was such an interesting person and a well of local knowledge. But you were obviously on a mission. So I just stepped back and waved.
