Thanks to RynoA for mentioning this option in his recent TR. Looks like there's another option besides the Chelan Boat Company/Lady of the Lake. This is a smaller boat (32 person catamaran ferry) and starts from Fields Point (no Chelan option), but is slightly less $ per ticket. https://www.stehekinferry.com/

Looks like it takes 2 hours 15 minutes. That's much faster than the normal Lady, don't remember for the express. Field's Point is nice. And you drive faster than the boat, so you wind up with less travel time. I prefer leaving from there vs Chelan. Thanks for posting this! smile.gif

Actually, it looks like the new boat is slightly more expensive than Lady of the Lake. $78 for the new boat and $67.75 for the Lady Express. The new boat is faster though - 90 minutes to Stehekin vs 2.5 hours on the Lady Express. I guess it depends upon if you want to hurry up and have fun already or enjoy the scenic ride uplake.

The Lady used to run a catamaran/hydroplane that did the trip from Chelan in about an hour or so. It was great for getting up there, doing a nontrivial day in Stehekin, then getting back, but man, that thing beat you half to death and was louder than a kid learning the drums.
