Hey everyone,
I'm new to the Seattle area and currently trying to find a hiking / backpacking group. I'm a 25 year old male and in pretty good shape, I can hike the old trail on mailbox without any issues and did the new trail loop for mailbox in under 3h30 though I was pushing myself to get that time.
Currently I tend to do 1-2 hikes per week and I like to get them done either very early in the morning (I can sometimes be on a trailhead at 6:00-6:30 AM) but also happy to go after work.
I'm also trying to get more into backpacking and doing all day hikes for weekends but that's where I'm at right now, mostly doing shorter hikes (5-6 miles) during the week (examples : Poopoo point, Mount Si, Mailbox, Dirty Harry's balcony) and my schedule is very flexible. I also have a car.
I'm also a good conversationalist, a very positive person and fun to be around.
