looking to go up for over a week near the end of June. Want to get into the upper Lakes as I did last year. hoping some trail reports will pop up if anyone has been in that area or will be going into that area in the next few weeks I'd appreciate the info on snow conditions.

Yeah, last report was from a couple weeks ago. The weather has been pretty wet since then, so my guess is no one has gone up there, or if they have, they didn't go any farther than Copper, and didn't bother to write a report. I assume most of the upper lakes are still under snow.

Wondering how the snowpack compares to last winter. I went up there the end of June in 2019 and things were nice and clear, hope that happens again as there are some steep Banks to navigate

FWIW snowpack elsewhere in the Stevens area has been a fair bit more robust than at this time last year, per my and other backcountry skiers' reports. Same though a little less so around Snoqualmie.

It varies so much between places that aren't even that far apart. But I ran into patches of snow up to 100 yards long on Hansen Ridge this past Sunday, at around 3,200? feet. Bigger patches above. But also lots of bare (wet) dirt.

Thanks guys, this may help others too who are thinking of venturing out in a few weeks. I know the north slopes go last as a lot of my route would be. That spine after big heart lake would be gnarly with snow, it's already hard to pick out the trail.
