I put together a fun little video of hiking up Sauk Mountain.
There's a little road walking due to deep snow on the drive up but for the most part, the trail is clear to about 4,900 feet. From there, I ran into an impassable snowfield. I probably couldn't negotiated it if I had brought my micro spikes. I'd give it another couple of weeks and the trail will be clear to the top.
I'd also like to point out that there are sizable cracks down the middle of the trail almost the entire way. My guess is the trail is going to slide out at some point.
