My friend Vincent Djie has been missing since Friday 6/19. He went hiking at Alta Vista near Mt. Rainer on Thursday 6/18 and stayed the night at Alexander’s Lodge in Ashford, WA. The lodge said he checked out on Friday at 10am and no one has heard from him since. However Vincent's car ( 2014 black BMW 528i) has since been found at LONGMIRE Trailhead at Mt Rainier. A missing person’s report has been filed with both Pierce and King county police since Vincent is from Seattle. We called hospitals around the area and no sign of him. His phone has been off since Friday. I added a photo of a man (4th picture in google photo album below is of the stranger, all other photos are of Vincent) who was with Vincent Djie during his hike on Thursday before he went missing - we are not sure who he is or if he's also missing. If anyone recognizes him, please let us know! He's the last known person to be with him. Sorry for the poor photo but it's all we have. I’ve also included photos of Vincent and the missing person flier. Search & Rescue has been initiated at LONGMIRE trails. Update 6/24 3:30pm: A staff met Vincent on Friday at around 3pm. He was hiking Rampart Ridge and heading towards Mildred Point. 6/25/2020 10:49am: Search and Rescue is still on going.
