I have heard the breadcrumb trick works great but haven’t tried it as no bread/gluten for me. One of these days I might try almond meal or cassava. Truth is, the last year or so I have been making my dehydrated meals vegan and adding broken up jerky, turkey patties, prosciutto or pepperoni slices rather than dehydrating a lot of meat exclusively for meals. That way I can eat it as a snack or meal depending on how I feel out on trail.

You don't find yourself standing at the top of a mountain without having started out in the valley.
