Hi folks -- on our grand family Pasayten traverse, we accidentally left our Whisperlite near the boundary trail on Bald Mountain. It's an old stove, 21 years, but has lots of memories -- all over the world, many mountains, many overland adventures. A cautionary tale: we were leaving it out for coffee in the morning, then when it was raining in the AM decided to pack and go quick and didn't drink coffee. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue: I'd be so addicted to caffeine I'd ABSOLUTELY have coffee, rain or snow. But I went through the headache hell of breaking the habit recently. <sigh> The unexpected downsides! If you're heading to that area, I'd be happy to tell you where it is. In return I'd ask: either love it with all your heart and take it on many more adventures, or send it back to us (happy to pay shipping of course). PM for details. (For more about our grand adventure: see this trail report.) Thanks! Mountain blessings to all.
