and on a Tuesday its a nice peaceful hike.

Thanks! They were a challenge - my camera's autofocus system couldn't see them against that background so I had to manual focus. Hard to do on something that doesn't hold still for more than a second or two. Out of about 20-30 burst shots those were the only two that came out with anything resembling sharpness and clarity. Okay, that's what I would've expected back in July. I was thinking that if there was still that much snow up there now that would be pretty crazy.
