20+ years ago, I purchased a large--don't know the size--custom McHale pack, to use as a summit pack. I used it fewer than 5 times and it's been sitting in my basement since then. I'm 5'9" and it fits me well. It's definitely not light weight, reflecting technology (fabrics, frame) from those years.
