Totally agree. I've also climbed it numerous times, without having any problems. Haven't been for a few years, but I love it up there. There's just something about Lake Elan, such a wonderful basin. Wirtz Basin is nice too. I like how various segments of the climb have such different characteristics from other parts.

I have only been up there once, but that's probably enough, although I dream of returning.
We spent the night in the camp area next to the lake, those smooth granite boulders make good furniture.
