I made two stops on the Boundary trail when hiking from Upper Cathedral Lake to Andrews pass. I believe I left it on the side of the trail between the turn off to Lesamiz trail and the turn off for Remmel Lake. Last picture was taken on the summit of Amphitheater. I went back looking for it to where I last stopped for water. It was not there so hoping it was picked up by someone going to Remmel Lake.

Hope you get reunited with it, I lost a camera on a backpacking trip in Arizona earlier this year and it was such a bummer. Crossing my fingers for you.

I agree this is a bummer. I left a note at both Thirtymile and Andrews Creek THs and sent a message to the Washington Hikers Facebook group. Not sure if there is another place I could send a message to increase my chances. Suggestions welcome.

You might want to let these guys know: http://cascadewildernessoutfitters.com/ Steve and Jess Darwood run trips in that area, and hunt up there in the fall. I’d let them know about it. Nice folks.... (Hopefully, you find it before hunting season, though!)

Call the ranger station too. Maybe someone found it and didn't know what to do, seems like they'd be the most obvious lost and found.

I know it's no help now, but for those reading - a label maker is a good investment; I have my email address stuck on all my gear. Also having just spent a fair amount of time trying to track down the owner of a cell phone, I can say that it's appreciated by the finder as well!

It took a while but my camera has made it back home today. The finder found me via a TR message I left on wta.org.

That did take a while. Glad you got your camera back.

The first photo on my memory cards, locked against erasure, is of my name, phone number and email.
