I hiked to Red Pass at Snoqualmie today and came across lots of small piles of huckleberry scat near the pass, generally in the middle of the trail. Normally, I'd think bear, but it was smaller than what I think of as typical bear scat. What do you think it's from?

It looks like bear scat to me. Do baby bears ever make baby-sized scat?

Or from a bear that just had a little bit more to squeeze out; the bigger pile is farther off.
