WTA BCRT! (Washington Trails Association Backcountry Response Team) This was a four-day trip that was trimmed to two days due to dangerous weather. Crew leader extraordinaire Emily (wisely) called off Saturday because thunderstorms were in the forecast. Then Sunday night a big tree crashed down near our camp, and high winds were forecast for Tuesday, so Emily (again wisely) had us hike out Monday. But we stayed safe, had fun, and got a LOT work done, in spite of the weather.
