Kind of surprising, not sure when the fall shows were filmed, but he has looked pretty good lately.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

The best-dressed man on television. Sad. RIP Mr. Trebek Hopefully this thread won't devolve into any more posthumous character assassinations.

I would like to see former Millionaire host Chris Harrison take over as Jeopardy host. I can't believe they made Kimmel the host of Millionaire, I like the show but refuse to watch it with that clown as host.

One of the good ones...RIP Mr. Trebek

Loved watching Jeopardy with my brother, yelling at the tv, kibbitzing about the contestants. Wish I could have seen ABC's memorial 20/20 special a few days ago. frown.gif I didn't know he was Canadian. Figures. up.gif Some good interviews here:

Reports say that George Stephanopolis is interested in being the new host.

Be sure of your facts.

I took catsp's post as tongue-in-cheek.

Maybe. wink.gif Even so, I accept Randy's observation to "be sure of your facts." So to be clear, I never said I blamed him for the call; I said I'd not forgive him for [his part] in the controversy. But if I'm going to be honest, that's not really my biggest problem with Trebek. It was his hawking of sh##ty insurance to his dedicated, trusting audience. It's a pet peeve - older famous people trying to get a few more unneeded bucks by hawking sh##ty products. So if you're planning to post a "RIP Magnum PI" at some appropriate point in the future, please know you'll be hearing from me!

Can we have a forum rule preventing cheap shot garbage from being dumped in an RIP thread?

If you're going to start engaging in character assassinations of celebrities who have appeared in advertisements for what you believe are sketchy products, you're in for a lifetime of work.
