Thanks. I thought perhaps I was seeing a pattern, but apparently not.

89 minutes apart. 2 wolves and 89 minutes later followed by 3 lions on the same path. Videos a couple pages back
One critter I'm not seeing in my area is fox and I'm not sure why. Not a single image of one. I'm somewhat surprised & baffled.

It's been a lot of fun! I've discovered so much territory and have learned a lot about animal behavior

By the way, that helicopter pilot is 79 years old. Impressive

Thanks for posting that. Great video. My wife and I happened upon some AudioMoths last summer that were fastened to a tree trunk off trail. I talked to the biologist whose business card was inside the bags and was told that they collect six weeks worth of audio recordings and that a UW computer then analyzes the data and parses out the wolf howls, which humans then listen to.
I thought I might get some for my own use (about $70 each as I recall), to supplement my cameras, but the signal processing software for IDing and extracting wolf howls from countless hours of audio recording is proprietary and unavailable to me. Dang! Pretty cool stuff though.
