Hopefully they will be shipping out of Montana soon, they sound like delicious whole food meals!

You don't find yourself standing at the top of a mountain without having started out in the valley.

update https://www.gastrognomemeals.com/ from their FAQ section; When will they be available across state lines? In due time. We are working on USDA approval, but our goal is to get our feet under us, serve our direct community first and then expand when it becomes financially feasible. We will never outsource, and that makes expansion for our type of business unheard of as we have to build facilities, pave new paths and subsequently invest a lot of time and money. But that won’t stop us. We are committed to doing this our way, and we will get there soon!

That is pretty much the going rate for meals that are paleo or keto leaning these days. Gone are the $9 meals.

Yea, even the #10 cans of freeze dried stuff has gone up significantly in price since COVID-19. And even then, much of the stuff is hard to find in stock. I am thinking I will use up all my FD meat this next summer if I can't get some more somewhere. Makes the prospect of buying a freeze drier even more attractive. Anyway, I like making my own meals up from my FD stocks of meat and veggies along with other dried stuff. I can dial in exact my desired portion/nutrition amounts. Plus I pretty much know everything that is in it. And our spaghetti sauce w/ground turkey is out of this world tasty. Rumi

We have considered budgeting one in for our farm. We could preserve quite a bit more with one - and we have the system to seal food into mason jars for long-term dry storage. Pricey though for the unit.
