Interesting timing as far as COVID, this is one of the narrowest trails I've ever been on, there's a sheer cliff into a river on one side. I imagine it will get insanely packed having been out of commission for so long.
That said, it's a real gem and I'm glad to see it back!
Outstanding news! Probably my favorite trail in the Columbia River Gorge area. The exit off I-84 was still blocked off on Thursday morning when I drove by.
Yeah, I would guess this trail will be absolutely slammed with all the people who have been missing hiking there for 3 1/2 years I believe it's been closed.

Yea, I saw this announcement via the PCTA. Most of the PCT thrus will like this. I think more of them do this alternative than the actual PCT , even though this doesn't dump out into the town like the PCT does.
