Maybe we could just play the Rams all season.

Well the Rams do have very good defense but if our offense can generate a few points and our defense can pretty much shut them down, we should be ok.

How in the hell did this team win 12 games?

Super disappointing end to the season. Pete can’t adapt, Schottenheimer can’t adapt, and Russ just looked spent. We need young blood on the Oline and a new, innovative OC that highlights our roster. If Pete can take a back seat to that, I think he should stay. If he can’t, it’s time for a change.

I don't see the O line improving anytime soon with Russ' contract taking up so much salary cap space, they can't go after free agents, can't afford them. Brady in the past with the Pats had his contract restructured in order to sign free agents at key positions. The draft won't likely help much as we gave up 2 first round pics and a 3rd round pick for Adams. To make matters worse, Wilson appears fat and slow to me, he is definitely not as quick to escape the rush as in the past. Ciara must be a helluva cook.

Disappointing end to a season with lots of hope.
I guess I don't understand football well enough to understand why they ran Carson at 1 and 25 or threw a bomb at 3rd and 5.

Not unusual for a 30+ year old QB.

I’ve seen a few murmurings on the interwebs bringing up the idea of a Wilson for Watson trade. After the end of this season, I’d be up for the gamble.

Pete is best coach ever. 12-4 + division champs. Once him and John fix the Oline this off season all the pieces will be in place. I truly believe another Superbowl is a foregone conclusion and the best is yet to come. Go Hawks!

It was disappointing for sure.
I don't really blame Wilson, he was scrambling for his life almost every play. The O line and play calling need a lot of improvement before we will ever be real contenders in the NFL... sad to say.
It was hard to watch!

Carrol has NEVER placed much priority on the O line! Weve drafted MORE offensive lineman (that have failed to go anywhere) than anoy other tram over the last ten years. Maybe they ARENT that great at picking players?????

I have noticed a lot of former 'Hawks linemen playing on other teams...maybe they left because the Hawks couldn't afford to pay them?
"Because $35 million of his $65 million signing bonus was deferred to 2020, Wilson is scheduled to make a league-high $53 million this year, an amount that includes his $18 million base salary.".
53 million this year? Just wow!
