I see now the ponds I was talking about visiting are up a side stream from Crazy Creek. They are in the upper right of the above map.

I see on Google Earth where you are talking about. Looks pretty freakin' steep over those ridges. Let me know if you get there with some pics. I'm always looking for new adventures.
I am a several years older than you so I may not make it there but if I do I will post some pictures.
I think Larry on this website has been there but I don't know what route he took.

I am revising (again) my book, Olympic Mountains Fishing Guide and going to color in this edition. At 77, i'm not able to make the kinds of trips you made- i am envious, to say the least. But I am looking for some photos. Yours do not have captions and though I recognize some of the ponds and lakes, I can't be sure. If you are willing, I am looking for:
photos of Hagen Lakes
any fish information you might have for Hagen, Scout, Stone Ponds - even if you didn't fish, there may have been fish rising or visible. Even that would help me.
thanks
Dave Shorett
I have written several books about fishing in the Olympics, Cascades and Mt. Rainer. I am looking for photos and trip info that I can use to update my books.
