Amazing story, thanks Schroder! The headline should be something like "New Theory Restores Avalanche as Plausible Cause of Dyatlov Pass Tragedy" or something like that, we will never know what really happened. AFAICT, the "parachute bomb" explanation remains just as plausible.

Interesting. I liked the infrasound hypothesis in the book Dead Mountain, but this is probably more plausible, especially since it explains the trauma injuries. Of course, the "mutants" or whatever in the movie Devil's Pass are at least as plausible, amiright? clown.gif
