Started the stove, but had overfilled the pit. When I put the lid on, water ran over and got into stove, which sputters, but kept going. Thought it would dry itself out, which it did, but wasn’t all that efficient. When cleaning my gear tonight, noticed the insulation near the base of the Piezo lighter was all burned to white ash. A similar material appeared to be partially clogging some of the holes in the burner. Explaibs the loss of efficiency. At any rate, from now on, turn it off and shake the water off next time.
-------------- Life is too short to take too seriously.
Being afraid of dying is not synonymous with being afraid of not living. The former is so occupied with avoiding death that he never truly lives. The later would rather risk death in the hope of truly living.
