This little high point is in the Jamul area & is part of a small range of hills that creates a barrier between Steele Canyon & Proctor/Echo/Hidden Valleys. It's CDFW property & sees few visitors. On some previous trip while I was walking along the old Millar Ranch Rd., I spotted a trail leading to the saddle just e. of this pk., & decided to check it out @ a later point. This day was the day! The trail is in good shape tho is a little brushy in the beginning. The last part has a bit of a rock scramble but it's easy.
