Really boy they will go at no end to get $$. I didn't like all the garbage, glass and shooting going on last time I went up the road. My friends dad told me about coming down that road losing brakes and having to bail off.

"That Skooper has been cut up pretty good by the tweakers. They tried to haul it out in pieces but couldn't get it up to the road.
I recall hearing of a guy who was going to try to remove it a few years back. His plan somehow coincided with the temporary reopening of the mine road for the CERCLA work that was to be done at the mine site. I don't think he was a tweaker, but I also think the economics were/are pretty tough for that piece of junk in that location. If there's maybe, say, 30 tons of iron there, you're looking at maybe six grand in value all the way at the scrap yard and an awful lot of work and expense to get it there.
