Anyone know what time this snow-park usually gets full on a saturday? Any legal close by parking options if it is full? Thanks!

It's been filling very early this year on weekends, overflow has been so bad that troopers are being stationed at exit 54 to prevent people from parking on the on and off ramps.

7AM is probably pretty good. The Gold Creek snow park runs along the east side of the frontage road for 1.5 miles until the turn around a little south of the Gold Creek pond turn off. Plowing ends there. Snowmobilers use the southern end of the sno-park -- they like to leave wide gaps along the road between a trailer and the tow vehicle of the next sledneck to facilitate loading snowmobiles onto the trailer. They have been know to vandalize Subarus that squeeze into these gaps.

Pretty much everything Randy said. Also it stays full all day long. I'm not a morning person so I can't say what time it fills. Have a plan b. I've always had good parking luck at Crystal Springs.

well...we rolled in at 9am. Too many moving parts to get there sooner...sigh... but we were lucky and pulled up one car away from the triple sanicans. Sheriff was there and appeared to allow a certain amount of road side overflow parking.
