| I did that west ridge. I hated it. Never again. It just kinda gets worse and worse, with lots of exposure, and not much that is fun. I've done worse, but it was always to places that you can't get to any other way (and it was when I was younger). There is a boatload of fun, easy, rambling to be had in the area. I wouldn't recommend the ridge (just go around on the standard route) but I know there are thrill seekers out there that love it. |

I took the west ridge with ruby dog (also based on Matt’s report) in mid July and didn’t have much difficulty. Had to give her a boost once IIRC.

I feel confident now that this is well within my solo limit.
Edit to add:
@rubywrangler- in the pano you posted is that Big Snow on the skyline about the dog's head?

No worries at all! Actually, it was really cool to see how many people chimed in with west ridge beta. It's great seeing the community come together like that and help someone out, and I have to admit it was nice to see rubywrangler's pano from her trip again.
