Lovely instrumental rendition of that Stan Rogers a capella tune, Ray. One of my favorites. In Bushwacker's post of Jimmy Buffett, I noticed Mac MacAnally playing in the band. He's a pretty good front man and tunesmith in his own right. I first discovered him thanks to the 'old" KEZX FM that played "The City" regularly back in the 80's.

I feel like I've seen the name Dead Sara mentioned when people start talking about female vocalists in rock/metal, but never got around to checking them out. Just stumbled into them while playing around in You Tube. DAMN. Should've done that sooner.
Yeah, that was cool! Thanks for the pointer. up.gif

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.

Odd band name, but this rocks. Some of their videos are totally goofy but this one seems to have something to say.

She got an early start, as a teen. Still under 30. Kind of an old soul. This one hits a sweet spot for me, first time I heard it's like it's a song I've known for years.

This played during the end credits of a movie I just watched (well a different version of the song, but close enough). I've known the artist for years but I don't think I'd heard this song before.

She's also a model, but she can legit sing. She had a song on the Harley Quinn/Birds of Prey soundtrack that I like. She has some new stuff on you tube with an upcoming album.

Time to chill with some Deep House by Sun Singleton. You might bring the volume down to a third and go from there. Gets really luscious around 0:45 and beyond. Enjoy. ~z
. Note: You may have to stop the player when finished.

Here's some atmospheric Drum 'n Bass. Great rhythm, very upbeat and cheerful. ~z
