Seems like it's setting up for Granite to have a really big brush/tree clearing slide soon

If you are going out this weekend, make sure it is not Sunday with increasing snow and rising temperatures. Avalanche hazard will be elevated through most or all of Monday. www.nwac.us be sure to open the full forecast for whatever region.

Not surprisingly, Stevens Pass will be closed tonight into Monday some time. https://www.wsdot.com/traffic/Passes/stevens/default.aspx Many mountain webcams show rain/wet snow on camera lenses and strong winds and blowing snow at upper areas of ski areas. It's very pleasant indoors here in Seattle.......

While the chance of the really big slides is probably less likely after the warm storm on the February 21st, they are still possible because of lots of new snow with strong winds Thursday and Friday. But that is not the only problem; as the recent storm slabs are certainly large enough in their own right. Be careful this weekend and watch the avalanche forecast. Exciting images from most areas. https://nwac.us/

This is from the latest back country forecast on NWAC--dated March-9-10, 2021 for the Snoqualmie Pass area. The video was from March 6. ~z
