First full day of the Tournament. Only 1 big upset so far, Oral Roberts over Ohio St. Oregon St. also pulled an upset over Tennessee and got their first Tourney win since 1982!

I am in a 20 bracket thing with some friends. I almost went with Oregon State but didn't and I saw Ohio state play last week but wasn't impressed. I also picked Georgia Tech over Loyola of Chicago, other than that I am doing ok. I don't really care that much though as long as the Zags do well. But it does make it more interesting having a bit of coin on the outcomes.

Another big upset, North Texas (first win ever!) over Purdue in OT. Did you call that one Chief Joseph? I long ago quit doing brackets. Mine always got blow up.

No, this is the first I have ever done this and probably the last. Too stressful and frustrating, lol. I see my main mistake was going with pretty much all favorites, I think to win one must gamble and try to predict a couple of upsets. Not doing terribly though, 4 wrong so far, but San Diego state is stinking it up.

Eastern Washington is giving Kansas all they can handle. Eags up 4 about 7 minutes into the 2nd half. Pac 12 has been much maligned in recent years, but they are showing well so far this Tourney.

There's always some upsets, the trick is correctly picking them. I usually overthought it when filling out brackets. There's an element of randomness to it. Sometimes a team that is hot heading into the Tourney suddenly cools off, or a team that looked dead in the water finds their way again. You just never know what will happen.

Too bad. Eastern Washington ran out of steam and Kansas went on a run.

It’s always more fun if you have a favorite team and they are in it.

Well, I ended up 11-15 yesterday and so far today 8 of 8. It would be cool if I picked them all correctly today. That was amazing the battle that Eastern Wa put up, they would have beat most teams with that effort. Kansas is going to be tough to beat going forward. 9 of 9 now that Oregon was advanced due to their game with VCU cancelled due to Covid.

Gonzaga looked rusty at the start of the game, but then they just buried Norfolk St. I think this is gonna go down as by far the biggest winning margin in the first round.

So much for my team! Oh well, Maryland deserved the win.

Gonzaga screwed up, they didn't make it to 100 only 98. At one point they led by 48 points. Suggs picked a good game to have an off night but Kispert was on fire!

Timme was fairly quiet too. But Watson had the game of his life. Norfolk St. just refused to guard him and he made them pay for it over and over again.

#1 seed Illinois goes down in the 2nd round to Loyola, Chicago. My goodness the Big 10 Conference is going down in flames. Absolutely horrendous performance by them.

Oregon St. still going, Sweet 16! Nice for them (where my parents went to school).
